WHO WE ARE
Our family boasts a rich Tuscan heritage, proudly preserving four centuries of tradition in cultivating Chianti vineyards and olive groves. Committed to sustainability, we adhere to the time-honored practices of organic farming.
Masseto in Chianti, featuring a charming manor house and two picturesque farmhouses, was once managed by sharecropping families who played a vital role in nurturing and preserving the area’s rich landscape. With the decline of sharecropping, the farms fell into disuse for a time, until the establishment of the Masseto farm breathed new life into these historic structures. Today, the sprawling 50-hectare estate thrives under organic farming practices, boasting lush vineyards, flourishing olive groves, and serene woodlands.
In the last thirty years we have also dedicated ourselves to conservative restoration, keeping the architectural features unaltered, but making the cottages comfortable, according to modern living standards.

The hospitality activity began in the eighties with two houses converted into comfortable cottages with modern kitchens and bathrooms, antique furniture in the rooms. We built one of the first swimming pools in the area, and we received the licence number 002 for rural hospitality in Castellina in Chianti. The kitchens of all the apartments are equipped with fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven and small appliances. The furnishings of the rooms are ancient and come from the family, which has owned this small village for four centuries. Each cottage has its own shaded outdoor area, with the use of the swimming pool in the summer months and a common laundry. All cottages have central heating.
We want to offer our guests a simple but nice, healthy and relaxing place, for a stay that regenerates the body and the spirit. We live in the property and are always available to make the stay as pleasant as possible.
